
The MIS Team are responsible for:
- Managing and delivering formal and informal training courses for Authority staff on ICT systems and applications supported by the Service.
- Providing day-to-day support on applications by telephone, remote networking and site visits. These applications are:
- Microsoft Office
- Capita/SIMS Products for Schools
- Capita/SIMS Products for the LEA
- Oracle
- Liaising with the technical support teams to ensure problems are resolved for our customers at the earliest opportunity.
- Invigilating ECDL tests for staff aiming to achieve ECDL Level 1 or the ECDL Certificate.
- Evaluate and develop software in conjunction with other teams and agencies.
