Services: Management Information Systems Support

The MIS Team are responsible for:

  • Managing and delivering formal and informal training courses for Authority staff on ICT systems and applications supported by the Service.
  • Providing day-to-day support on applications by telephone, remote networking and site visits. These applications are:
    • Microsoft Office
    • Capita/SIMS Products for Schools
    • Capita/SIMS Products for the LEA
    • Oracle
  • Liaising with the technical support teams to ensure problems are resolved for our customers at the earliest opportunity.
  • Invigilating ECDL tests for staff aiming to achieve ECDL Level 1 or the ECDL Certificate.
  • Evaluate and develop software in conjunction with other teams and agencies.
