Registration
Before you can book any courses on-line you must first register your details.
This will only take a few minutes and you only need to do it ONCE!
When you subsequently logon you will only need to enter your personnel number and password.
To register...
- Click on the "Login" button to the left of this page.
- Under Registration, click on the "Register" button.
- Enter all your details into the form.
(Remember! Make a note of your personnel number and password and keep it in a safe place. You will need these to login to the site to book courses.)
- Click on Submit (or Reset if you have made a mistake).
- Check your details are correct and click on "Continue".
- Your welcome page will appear together with your course booking history.
Once you have registered you will be able to book courses, register interest in a course (if it is fully booked) and also view your course booking history.
Booking a course
- If you have registered, click on the "Login" button on the left hand menu.
- Click in the Personnel Number field and enter your personnel number.
- Click in the Password field and enter the password you selected when you registered with the site.
- Click on Submit. Your welcome page will appear together with your course booking history.
- Click on the type of course you require under Courses on the left hand menu eg SIMS, Office Applications, etc.
- Read the course outline to ensure it meets your requirements.
- Check the course availability and click on the Book Course button under the date you wish to attend. (Please note: A manual Booking Form is also available for Line Managers to use if members of their team are unable to book online themselves).
- Check all the details on the Booking Form and if you agree with the Terms and Conditions, click on the agreement box.
- Click on the Submit button.
- Click on the Print Receipt button.
(The course booking receipt must be signed by your Line Manager to authorise your attendance on a course. Remember to bring your authorised receipt along to the course with you!)
- Continue browsing the web site or click on the Logout button on the left hand menu and close the web browser window.
Please Note: Failure to attend a course you have booked without giving at least 24 hours notice, will incur a £20.00 charge to your section. If you book a course in error please contact the MIS team on 01639 779500 so that your details may be deleted from the course bookings.
